About Need well paying job, still in high school, part-time,19yrs old

Need well paying job, still in high school, part-time,19yrs old?
I need a job desperately. Are there any places that give around $10.00 an hr.? Restaurants, fast-food, clothing stores anything where I don't have to work alone. I live in Bakersfield, California. Can you give me good websites and what catergory are restaurants, fast-food, clothing stores and all those places are in? I can't find the catergory where these are located on the job sites.

I can refer you to this great site: http://www.jobreferralswest.com The company is a licensed work-from-home employment agency that specializes in finding real jobs, not scams. Anyone can apply as long as you're permitted to work in the US. Legal immigrants are also welcome. There are great opportunities for stay at home moms & dads, students are welcome! What's good about them is they research and find legitimate jobs and they're not affiliated with the companies they refer. No commissions, benefits or incentives from the companies. Not a bunch of banners on the site, they do a really good service for the work from home community. If you can work independently, without someone looking over your shoulder, check it out!

No- pretty much anywhere that involves animals requires employees to be 18 and older for insurance liability reasons. Some places may take 16 year olds, but a 12 year old? Not a chance.
2 :
Legally she can't get a paying job at this age. She can try farm hand work for a private party, pet sitting business, pet walking business, pretty much anything that is privately run.
3 :
She can't get a paying job, but many shelters take volunteers. Where I live volunteers can start at age 13 and there's many many jobs involving animals. Even at 12 there's still some stuff available. So maybe you could look into that?
4 :
I walk a dog and its easy and fun. Good for the dog and good for me. You don't have to be 18 all the time to get some jobs. Maybe if she lives close by Neighbors then she could ask them if she can take care of their pet. I would say Walking a dog, Taking care of a pet while someone's gone away on a trip, Maybe even grooming a pet or entertaining a pet. If she wants that job then she can go to some neighbors and ask them. Hope this helps! :)

Her family can foster a guide dog puppy, and if she's smart and responsible enough, she can /help/ train him. Her family can also foster animals from your local shelter and she can help. The parents will be doing most of the work, because, well, they're the adults. She won't get paid, but her and her family will gain experience from having animals around 24/7. She'll even learn a lot about how guide dogs help blind or physically disabled people.

12 years old sounds a bit young to be thinking about work! I agree with Kate, who answered above... I'm not high enough level to "thumbs up" yet, though. :( Volunteering at a shelter might be a good idea for her, though! Lots of no-kill shelters, rescues and even a humane society or the pound might be able to help her out if she just wants to be around animals, though. Good luck to her!

babysitting, raking leaves, mowing lawns, pet sitting, house sittting, watering plats for someone. those are the only jobs that you will be able to get @ your age
2 :
you cannot work at this age, what you can do either is you can help your parents/siblings at home and then ask them for things you wish to have.
3 :
You could work at Culvers next year. xD

Hi. please don't be harsh on me...i'm only 18...just graduated...so go easy on me here. i need your help. i need to know the process of getting a job in an airport or an airlines. i LOVE airports. i love to travel. i currently work at Wal-Mart and it sucks there. I hate working in stores. another problem is that i live in Bakersfield, CA. yeah i live there....practically a desert here. lol. plz help me!!! i'm begging ya! plz! what's wrong with my English?

first of all learn english
2 :
southwest or delta i got family on both ends and they like it as a flight attendedant..
3 :
Usually, most companies list their employment opportunities on their website. Go to southwest.com, delta.com, united.com, etc. and apply online. If you want to be a flight attendant I believe they will train you.
4 :
Go to the airlines websites and apply. That's how I got my flight attendant job!
5 :
I live in Canada but I googled your town and it looks like Southwest is hiring Flight Attendants I know it says the deadline is past but it never hurts to ask again. Have a nice Flight. http://www.salary.com/careers/layouthtmls/jm_CA-Aviation-and-Airlines-jobs-in-Bakersfield.html
6 :
Go to airlines websites and see what openings they have. Most airlines wont hire anyone under 21.
7 :
I got my job working for an airline by browsing their website and submitting a CV on their Careers page. Usually all airlines will have a "contact us" link on their website, maybe you can start from there? :) Wishing you luck!
8 :
I'm in the midwest, so not familiar with Bakersfield. However, if there is a major airport in your area I'd start with the airlines that go in and out of it. If not you could still get a job with an airline as an FA (flight attendant) but you'd have to be willing to relocate or at the very least suffer the commute. If you speak two languages that would be a big plus in helping to get a job as an FA and working at wal-mart is also in you favor because it's considered customer service and they are looking for people with a customer service background. Most airlines have any info needed on their website, just start there and...Good Luck :)
9 :
Apply for any and all jobs with the airlines. Diamondjade is right, Skywest is almost always hiring, they are expanding. and hire under 21.Go to www.skywest.com and apply online. You can also try going to the airport and talking to people who work there.Getting a flight attendant job can be harder than the other jobs because that's the one with the most competition, but once you have your foot in the door with another airline job it is easier to transfer into it. Working at the airport requires a background check and once you've had one done (for any airline job, for example - ramp. [Ramp is a job where you load suitcases and bring planes in].The airlines and usually the airport will pay for and do this check) all the airlines are more willing to consider you. Good luck !

I think you're on the right track by becoming a CNA.
2 :
Definitely look into getting your CNA and working while going to school. It will give you a whole new outlook for nursing and respect for the field. It will help the CNA's working with you respect you later, and you will respect them more, as well. It also can help you figure out if that is really what you want to do.
