About Air conditioning or HVAC Technician that can answer these questions

Air conditioning or HVAC Technician that can answer these questions? ?
I am a HVAC student in San Joaquin Valley college in Bakersfield, CA and for an assignment I need to make contact with technicians in the field. It would be great if you could answer the following questions and please email me your NAME AND NUMBER just in case my instructor thinks I answered the questions myself, and I'll just be able to show his your name and number so he knows it's legit. Your help would be very kind! 1. Why did you go into the HVAC field or air conditioning field? 2. How long have you been in the field? 3. What are the things you like most about the field? 4. What business are you working for? 5. What are the things you DO NOT like about the field? 6. Is there any special training you would recommend to me? 7. Are there any difficulties or challenges you encountered in entering the field that you think I may need to overcome? 8. How can i best prepare for them? 9. Do you know any company or owner who might be interested in hiring part-time students? 10. May I contact you again if I have any further questions? THANKS FOR YOUR TIME! and God bless you. And don't remember to leave your NAME AND NUMBER! Important

About Is it possible for me to make it in time for my bus

Is it possible for me to make it in time for my bus?
I recently purchased a train ticket that will take to Bakersfield and from there I'm supposed to get off and go onto a bus to finally reach my destination. But I've never been on a train before so I don't know how it all works. I have 9 minutes to get off the train and find the right bus. 1. Would that be enough time for me to get my luggage and get my ticket and load the bus? 2. Is getting my luggage checked out like at the airport where we have to wait a while to finally get our suitcase again?

Getting from the train to the bus and collecting your bags along the way in just 9 minutes sounds a wee bit tight to me, however buses usually run on a regular, repeating cycle with a bus for each route coming by the station once every 15 to 30 minutes, it should be possible to ride a later bus to get to your destination, but if you are trying to be to be at an appointment on time I would strongly suggest that you take the next earlier train.

About Unemployment for California getting cut off

Unemployment for California getting cut off? HELP?
My mom really needs a job she is a mother of 3 kids. One is 2 years old,I am 14 years old and the oldest is 17 years old. Our unemployment just got cut off and my mom really needed it. (she's been on it for 2 years) and we live in Bakersfield,California. She has a degree in phlebotomy and drawing blood and stuff but there seems to be no jobs she keeps applying for them but they never call her back. What can we do? My 17 year old sister has 2 jobs but they don't give her enough hours (Only 1-2 days a week. She works at taco bell and spencers gifts)

Your mom can go to the local unemployment office and ask one of the counselors to get set up to attend a WIA meeting. This is a meeting where she can tell them what kind of job she wants to get. She she is a phlebotomist she can enroll in an online college course for Medical Billing and Coding. You guys are great in trying to help out. Unemployment also can see if she can get some kind of money also for taking an on-line course and they should have money for that since she can't get unemployment (or Congress is now voting on extensions) right now. Hope this helps. She can also try to get a job at a local clinic or private practice doctor's office. Do you have a Sutter North or Kaiser Hospital she can get a job there?

4 :
maybe try somewhere that you can operate a cash register and work in a grocery store, since you have experience operating a cash register and working in a grocery store.
5 :
If i were you i would either work at walmart or save alot because you get atleast 6 dollars a night. and their not cheep like other stores, so have a nice aplication and your welcom good luck!
6 :
well you have customer service experience.....find out property managment companies that are hiring and become an apartment leasing consultant, you don't ususally need previous experience, and they will train you.......I make about $10-$15 P/hr Plus commission on every person that moves into an apartment! its kind of in the sales department but its good because there are a lot of people that are always looking to move into and apartment! plus you get to wear cute business attire and you feel important.....good luck
7 :
Sorry no suggestions for Ca. area but if you lived closer to me I'd hire ya in a instant!
8 :
Are you asking for too much money for the jobs you've applied for? Do you have the experience for those jobs? Have you completely filled out the applications? Do you go into the business' and apply and NOT over the phone?? Keep going back to the prospective employer as the squeaky wheel gets oiled.
9 :
Get your butt up and find one
10 :
I think , bakersfield Ca area does not have much jobs. You should live in the big city for your first entry job. After , you got experience . You should go wherever you want. Bakersfied Ca , has only as gas station that need a cash register job. Beside , farm. Thanks

Well if you wanted extra money you could do an online job. There are alot out there,I actually do this job online that I really am liking its typistjobs.net.I have tried other online jobs such as amazon, overstock and a casino affiliate job which cost me $300 and made about $20 in a year!!!I was so RIPPED OFF.So I joined this other job and i actually made over $800 in the first month.December is slow though,I hear its slow for many businesses but anyways just thought i'de share this job with you.

Like any other full time college student, the popular choices are either work as a waitress, bartender, or one of the large 24/7 retail stores (Walmart/KMart). Good luck.
2 :
Check out the local newspaper on Sundays, that is when most business post openings. You'd be surprised at the number of part time jobs in offices, customer services, data entry, etc. Also check out Monster or Careerbuilder, they are both great sites.

You could be a waitress at the most popular (or expensive) resturant in ur town. You could babysit others children. Like put out flyers and say the amount you would like per hour per kid. Make the flyer look good, not just some white paper. That doesn't stand out too much as colored paper. Or if you want you can do both. (just make sure you don't fall asleep when you have kids over. Or a stranger will call. muahahahahahaha. lol, jk. Movie I saw.)
