About Need help with Unemployment Benefits Appeal

Need help with Unemployment Benefits Appeal...?
I recently went to Bakersfield just to seek employment and thought i would be there longer and asked EDD to mail my check there and that was stupid of me... so i was there on Feb 12 just for the day and they set up a phone interview and that went well then they mailed my check, today i got a letter from them to file an appeal if i wish to because they denied my benefits for a week and the reason they state was because i was out for personal affairs and i did explained to them it was for work purpose only .... should i file the appeal and if i do not file it will they denied all benefits and will i be in trouble??? Please help with this.. So ..i was only away for a few days but is it worth fling for the appeal?? I am not sure what to do and does this mean they will stop amm my benefits ?? They have continued to send me claim forms ? So am not sure if to file it just to obtain benefits just for a week or just let it go and if i dont file the appeal will i be in any kind of problem.. Please help

Anytime you move your benefits will stop ! If you file an appeal it will take about 3 months just to reclaim the one week pay you missed and it's not likely you will win. It is up to you if you want to appeal for that week missed if I was you I wouldn't bother just continue to sent your continued claim forms in so you can get your checks.

About i live in the worst county in the worst state

i live in the worst county in the worst state!?
ok, i have a job, so does my wife. but were struggling like a lot of people are. i am white my wife is asian. we applied for food stamps as are bills are so high were haven problems. we was turned down. i know a mexican girl that makes more money then i do and gets $480 dollars a month in food stamps? there a family of 3. were 4 and make less money? why was we turned down? last night my wife came home and told me her asian friend with a mexican husband get around 500 a month in food stamps? they both work and have 1 baby about 6 months old. again there is 4 of us as we have a 7 and 5 year old.and zero help. she also said her case worker got them in on community connection and there number 1 on the list for day care? we have been waiting since august and day care is killing us but were number 34. how is this? to sum this up why are these people getting all this help when they make as much or more then us and have smaller familes? is it because i am white? my kids need to eat to? i lost my van 2 months ago as we could not keep up the payments. i am the same person that a few months ago ask why won't child protective sevice do there job? my kids bio mom was proven to abuse my 2 boys by every one even family law substancheated abuse on the boys mom yet since i am the father cps refused to protect my kids! the worst place on earth to live is bakersfield california! if i could move i would. any suggestions? thanks,

food stamps go by the amount of money you both make versus the amount of dependants. If the hispanic lady makes more money with fewer dependents, you and your wife should get food stamps too. Also it is possible that you are being honest about your income and the other's are not. Sorry but try again maybe you can get some food stamps at another time. sorry about you bad luck
2 :
the hispanic lady is not telling the truth to welfare services I'd turn her in
3 :
Sounds like maybe someone is not honest about their income. Sorry for your troubles and hope things improve for you soon.Just keep on trying.

Please, I urge you to get on board the Fair Tax train! Your situation is a perfect example of how abolishing the IRS and replacing it with a nat'l sales tax will bring more money and more fairness to our country. It wouldn't matter how much the drug dealer down the street makes, he will pay tax on what he SPENDS! Same goes for people who somehow always seem to have a big wad o' cash, but don't file returns like the rest of us.

The world is very, very, very big. There are some wonderful places on its surface. Fabulous sun-kissed beaches with miles of golden sands. Wonderful mountains with crystal steams cascading down into tropical paradises. There are also some horrendous cities populated by a subculture of thugs and gangsters. so i guess that ignore those ppl who r doing wrong stuff n jus go 4 the right u think n jus go 4 truth, n first understand the person n then trust kkk i wish it helps u

About I need help starting a job search within Childcare

I need help starting a job search within Childcare?
Hi, I am embarking on a career change in order to be at home more often.(raising my niece with the help of my mom who lives with me.) I have a B.A. in Religious Studies and I will have my 12 units in Child development completed by the end of July. My goal is to work with elementary aged children in the after school hours (2:00 PM-6:00PM) I have only done some preliminary searches but everything I have come across requires that you have classroom experience. I work at the church nursery right now which is a paid position but that is the extent of my classroom time, and it is ages 0-2. Any advice? Also, I am job searching within Bakersfield California, if that makes a difference. Thanks

My job is mind numbingly boring, and if that were all there was to it, I would hate it like West Virginia fans hate the Pitt Panthers right about now (that's called a "dig," OK?)....but it does pay very well, so there's that compensation. Also, the group of about twenty or so people I work with on a constant basis are just about the nicest, greatest group of people you could ever hope to assemble in one place, so it makes the actual workday enjoyable...even if the job itself sucks out loud. We're kind of like family....and that makes up for a lot.

I am not working at the job that I really want - radio presentation or production. I work in the public service and it can be very demoralizing after a while - but it does pay well. I'm just afraid that I have become a grumpy old man before my time.
19 :
I don't have one, but about 6 months ago I used to work at Subway and I thought it was ok, I wouldn't say I hated It.

Not precisely, i need it.....

Not at 15 no you have to be 18
2 :
don't use that pain thing as an excuse to use weed. ur parents consent has nothing to do with u able to get weed. u need a doctors prescriptions for it. and since u liv ein bakersfeild, there are ppl dealing drugs all day. there are ppl doing it on ur street.
3 :
The age limit is 18. Extraordinary circumstances would have to apply for one to be granted to a minor, and depression is not one of them.
